Toronto-based product designer that made the leap from marketing and into user experience and product design. I like to advocate for inclusive design built with clarity in mind, not just simplicity.
Immersion into UX design
From April to June 2016, I committed myself to Bitmaker's full-time bootcamp course focused on user experience and product design. The program placed me under the guidance of industry experts drawn from Wealthsimple, Opera, Shopify, and Filament Creative. The hands-on curriculum instilled me with the iterative framework needed for building and enhancing user experiences. Additionally, I completed the part-time front-end web development program at Bitmaker to help round up UX design skills.
Upon completing the Bitmaker programs, I joined Canada Post’s UX design team in October 2016. Since then I’ve been in Product Designer and Product Design Lead roles. Visit my LinkedIn for a more in-depth dive into these roles.
